Pediatric POCUS course (pediatric practice, outpatient and emergency ward)

The Pediatric POCUS course is designed for users of diagnostic ultrasound familiar with the principles of the method, who are willing to develop their skills in focused bedside pediatric ultrasound (pediatric practice, hospitalists in the emergency or ward units). The course provides theoretical knowledge and practical skills for the timesaving and patient-appropriate use of sonography in the daily work
completing the clinical examination.


Half of the time will be dedicated to hands-on sessions on children and adults, providing the participants protected time with skilled tutors, according to SVUPP requirements (see www.svupp.ch / news -> download).
The full course, supplemental to a previous basic course (pediatric or general US, WINFOCUS),
qualifies for the obtaining of the ISFM/SIWF approved SGUM/SSUM pediatric POCUS certification. Regulations and forms see www.svupp.ch / Ultraschall /downloads.
